Lee Rasdall-Dove is a singer/songwriter from the South coast town of Bournemouth, UK. Lee brings an extensive level of experience to his music that would make you think he has many more years on this planet. The amount of life experience and passion that is poured into every song resembles that of a well- travelled seasoned musician.
Lee released his first EP “Unplugged”, to critical acclaim, which helped him to gain the attention from a variety of music industry professionals. With a sound like Lees, one can see why he is commanding the attention of people who not only want to work with him but also come to see him at live performances. Lee is a professional working musician and is playing over 150 gigs a year ranging from local bars to large music festivals this is key in showcasing his ability to be a master performer. Lee writes in a large range of genres from Indie Folk to Reggae, Pop and Soft Rock. Another sign of Lee’s calibre is that he has experienced working with top level producers. His debut single “Roses” was produced by Jon Jacobs (Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Eric Clapton) 2013 which received commended entry status in the UK Songwriting Contest 2014.
Lee released his second EP “Head in the Clouds” in 2016 and completed a full 22 gig UK tour of universities the “Coffee House Sessions” following in the footsteps of The Shires and Izzy Bizu. The track “Pure” from the EP “Head in the Clouds” gained semi-finalist status in the UK Songwriting Contest 2016. The lead single “Head in the Clouds” was featured on BBC introducing October 2016. In March 2017 “Cynthia” from the same EP had several airplays on Kerrang! Radio Alex Baker show #KerrangFreshBlood.
Lee’s Debut Album “Out At Sea” Released on the 24th of June 2022 sees his return to online streaming services with a whole new 10 track Album. All Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by himself from his home studio. Three singles (None Of Us Do, Put The Kettle On and Fooled Again) were released in the run up to the album and received local airplay on Forest Fm by Host Ian Bennet and played on Vulcan Sound Radio, And-Radio Southampton and Forest Fm by host Matt Black. The Album is a mix of brand new songs, and some older songs but in an all new light with Full band versions to bring them to life. Lee started recording the album back in late 2019 from home when work was unavailable this gave him the time to focus on a goal and do something he has always wanted to achieve. Lee is excited to get the band together and showcase the album live and bring his music to new listeners.
Lee is available full time for bookings at corporate events, weddings, live music venues, private functions, bars and for performing at festivals around the globe. Popular with audiences, Lee offers an upbeat contemporary covers set mixed with award winning originals with something for all ages to enjoy.
